Description:

Pargyline is a monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) inhibitor with antihypertensive properties. MAOIs act by inhibiting the activity of monoamine oxidase, thus preventing the breakdown of monoamine neurotransmitters and thereby increasing their availability.
