Biological activity

It belongs to next groups of Bioreference compounds:
Target:

G-Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs)    Glutamate receptor    GABA receptors    Ion Channels    Potassium channel    Calcium channel    Ligand-gated ion channels    Transporters    Ion Pumps

Description:

Isoflurane is a general inhalation anesthetic. It induces a reduction in junctional conductance by decreasing gap junction channel opening times and increasing gap junction channel closing times.

Targets:Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-1, Calcium-transporting ATPase type 2C member 1, Glycine receptor subunit alpha-1, Glutamate receptor 1, Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 1, ATP synthase subunit delta, mitochondrial, Calmodulin, GABA-A receptor (anion channel)
