Description:

Gallic acid is an anti-inflammatory agent and cyclooxygenase inhibitor found in plants and has been shown to Induce apoptosis in human lung cancer cells. It is often used as a standard for determining the phenol content of various analytes by the Folin-Ciocalteau assay where results are reported in gallic acid equivalents.

Targets:Carbonic anhydrase 1; Carbonic anhydrase 2; RNA-directed DNA polymerase; Reverse transcriptase; Myeloperoxidase; G-protein coupled receptor 35;
