Analgesics    Anti-Inflammatory    Cardiovascular

Kinases    IκB kinase (IKK)    G-Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs)    Endothelin receptor    Enzymes    Kinases    Cyclooxygenase (COX)    Reductases    Platelet Aggregation inhibitors

Acetylsalicylic acid is an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic agent and acts as the inhibitor of cyclooxygenase which results in the inhibition of the biosynthesis of prostaglandins. It also inhibits platelet aggregation and is used in the prevention of arterial and venous thrombosis.
