Biological activity

It belongs to next groups of Bioreference compounds:
Target:

G-Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs)    5-hydroxytryptamine receptor (5-HT receptor) inhibitors    Enzymes    Reverse Transcriptase    Ion Channels    Calcium channel    Ligand-gated ion channels

Description:

Gramine is a naturally occurring indole alkaloid present in several plant species. Has been found to act as an agonist of the adiponectin receptor 1 (LD50 = 44.6 - 62.9 mg/kg). Gramine is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor in synaptic vesicles.

Targets:AdipoR1, 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2A, Octopamine 3 receptor, Voltage-gated calcium channel, Melatonin receptor type 1, Reverse transcriptase
