Biological activity

It belongs to next groups of Bioreference compounds:
Therapeutic areas:

Anti-arrhythmia agents    Antihypertensive    Cardiovascular    CNS Agents    Neurotransmitter Agents

Target:

G-Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs)    Adrenergic receptor

Description:

Bupranolol is a competitive, nonselective beta-blocker without intrinsic sympathomimetic activity. It competes with sympathomimetic neurotransmitters such as catecholamines for binding at beta(1)-adrenergic receptors in the heart, inhibiting sympathetic stimulation.

Targets:Beta-1 adrenergic receptor; Beta-2 adrenergic receptor; Beta-3 adrenergic receptor;
